Used bogu?

Well, I was intending to buy from the dealer suggested to me. I won't be able to afford it for a while.

So, I'm back to looking for used bogu for sale. What about the people who quit soon after they get bogu? I heard a statistic, I think there are a number of them. Where do their bogu go?

Anyway, I'm 5' 9", weigh 150 =/- (yes, skinny). Does anyone in CA- especially those going to the North South- have a set to unload?

I just can't afford anything new other than what I wouldn't be happy with. At least for now. Maybe I just practice kihon patiently. I would just like to return a favor for kirikaeshi, though. I'm experiencing 50% of maai, it seems.

Does your Dojo have spare or old bogu for you to use? If they have, you should wear those so that you can improve you kendo skill. Before I have my own bogu I use the bogu that borrow from the Dojo which it should be at least 10 years old or even 15!!!! for 2 years, and it is no problem except that they are smell and a bit wet.


Any way what is your budget that you can afford now? and what type of the bogu that you want?
