Hi
Please could you make Kendo-World RSS feedable? I'd so like to have it on my google page! Could you let me know if it's possible or not/what your plans are. Many thanks

I second this! As a secondary request, is it possible to only get RSS feeds from the Forum of our choice? Ex. Only Iaido feeds.
Heh, just wanted to create thread about it :-)
So yes - please add RSS, this would make our life uch easier!
Thanks...

We could do a poll, do you want a RSS feed, Yes / No
I say Yes
Well, I think if someone doesn't want it, he/she can simply not use it :D
There is no must :)
So maybe - 'Do you want a RSS feed?' - Yes/I don't care/What is RSS feed? :)

what is rss?
what is rss?
http://netdummy.com/netdummy-31-20040803WhatAreRSSFeeds.html
or more technical and detailed info:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_(protocol)
or in just few words:
push technology which would tell you when something new was published on the forum and what was it (so you will login to the forum only when something interesting was posted or you want to post something yourself. You no longer need to login just to see if something new/interesting appeared)
hope it answers your question ;-)
cheers,

I do some web work myself on my own home pages, and have an RSS/XML feed for my office site. There are many ways to generate these feeds, manually or through using server-based software. I know it can be a pain in the butt to do manually.
Technically, it might be a lot of work for the sysadmin to make a feed in this "forum" based environment. CNN and other news services use it for things that they update, but then they have full time people updating the databases all the time. I'm not sure of KW's situation.
In any case, it would be nice to have.

This Forum is povered by vBulletin. The documentation show that it's possible.
"Besides the main forums, the search friendly archive and the printable version of a thread, you can also choose to turn on the external data provider. (vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > External Data Provider)
Here you can select which type can be turned on/off. You can choose between javascript, rss and/or xml."

I has to be set ON by the admin, but it's a functionnality of the forum.
Hmmm...
And it seems to be a matter of changing Off to On on one radio button (see http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/vboptions_group_external)
second option from the top,
And then RSS would be available at
http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/external.php?type=rss
Or are we missing something? (this is question to admins ;-) )

Who is administrating this board? People from Kendo World staff I'm assuming, but I've never really seen comments moderated or "staff" shown by people's avatars.
