An Open Tourney :D

Did they say if it was open to everyone? If it is, I wonder how many people on this forum would like to participate?

Why wait three years for the next WKC.

man why even bother! everyone knows that the sckf will crush everyone! i feel sorry for the cckf because they stuck between two strong federations(and one gay one...scko). Well i would like more people to beat in shiais so that ic ould warm up some more...soooo bring it on!

Fresno??? Last I heard that was the murder capital of the US. Is there a dojo there? All of that said I do miss the chance to beat up on some old friends from up north.

"man why even bother! everyone knows that the sckf will crush everyone!"

Or more likely...you'll come back here, whining about the refereeing, FOB's and whatnot when you didnt win.

I am glad that guys that have never done anything in kendo are soooooo great that they can tell me how i am going to act...hmm..atleast i have something to whine about...I get far in tournaments. If i lose, i want to get hit by a clean point, not some crapy point. When you get to semi finals and finals, you dont want to lose by crap points. but at your level (the two mates...i hope its not time for you to mate), i guess most of the points are crap! gahahahahaha if i lose by i good clean point , i always say, "man i got toasted!" I just tell it like it is!

Hehe, from what you've posted so far Kurukuru it seems you are all talk, no substance.

Telling us how you smack down lower ranked students in your dojo is pretty hollow/shallow, when you seem to lose your tourney's.

'nuff said.:D

Hey kurukuru,

Winning doesn't give you a right to boast, boasting in general makes people sore losers or crappy and obnoxious winners.

The reason you get so much flak on the forum is that all you do is talk trash and never post any advice or threads that contribute to the learning of kendo. If you posted useful advice or comments or even useful questions, then people would be able to tolerate your constant boasting because at least part of the time you offered some comments that were worth reading and that benefit the forum. But you don't write anything constructive, hence, I will continue to find you as obnoxious as everyone else until you share some of that vast knowledge and experience you claim to have.

If you have useful knowledge to share, please do so, but all you have shown us is your big mouth, and nothing else...

Looking forward to learning something from you should ever feel the desire to post something useful,

sincerely
nodachi

P.S. Sorry for my rant, but many threads have gone into boasting tangents and many threads of no educational value have been created recently. It has been awhile since I have read something useful on this forum because of all these tangents.

I will go back to silently lurking now, just disappointed in the direction the forum has been heading lately...

I grew up with water all around me and not a drop of it I could drink :D

I lived pretty close to Pearl Harbor when I was kid... it ain't the Bay Area, then again you guys did have Alameda nearby

BTW, Queen was a big thing during high school. During the assemblies in the gym we would stomp and clap in the bleachers to the beat of "We will rock you"! I can still remember the look on the admins faces when they tried to get us to stop :D

stomp, stomp, clap; stomp, stomp, clap; stomp, stomp, clap...

MKK

P.S. You can play "Under Pressure" to try and psyche out the opposition ;)

Yay! My achilles tendon would be healed by then and I'd be practicing full blast by then. I hope I take some people out before they take me out. :D

What? "The Yoon" is in the forum? haha. Brad don't worry about Yoon. He'll handle "so-cal massivity" with some special "yoonerooni" waza that he conjures up during practice. :D

Don't worry Brad, my massivity has become strong like a black hole. So dense that light can not escape its pull.

Then again, that can also backfire as it probably pulls the person's shinai more rapidly to my kote!

No need to do that. I'm not in California or near it. I don't have bogu yet either. I do look forward to competing (although I do know that is not the be all and end all of kendo as a certain Englishman in the past in a different topic mentioned) and hope to come out to California for a competition. Not for fun, learning or experience but to teach everyone out there a lesson that the East Coast is the Gunma prefecture of American kendo, bee-yotch. (just kidding)

M.K. Kawai
30th May 2003, 02:10 PM
All riiiiiiiiight!

Gunma, huh. Well, come on over and we'll show you that the West Coast is the say all and be all of Kendo!!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha :D

Hai_hai, you can stop on over my place anytime. But don't waste all your energy during keiko, save some for atokeiko. That's when the whole lot of us put out our best stuff :D Then we can debate which coast is better over a brewsky :)

If I ever get a chance to go over there I'll look you up... Not for fun, to learn, or the experience but make converts out of everyone out there by using my Jedi Waza

"West Coast Kendo is superior to East Coast (Gunma Style) Kendo..." :D

Peace
