  • The Kendo World Tokyo Keiko-kai - Saturday 30th June 2012

    Dear Budoka,

We here at Kendo World hope that your training is going well, and that you are getting geared up for the hot weather that is soon to come. We have a date for your diaries that should be one of the highlights of the year.

In addition to our practice that will be held in Kyoto over Golden Week, Kendo World is going to be holding a keikokai at the Nippon Budokan on Saturday 30th June, 2012, from 1030-1230 in the No.2 dojo.

A few 8-dan sensei have been invited and there will be some prizes given out in a raffle on the day.

After practice, we will move to the dining room where there will be a buffet and some liquid refreshments.

This event is not just for kendoka - if you do naginata, jukendo or tankendo, please come along, too. We could even do some isshu-jiai.

This event will cost Y5000 per person and numbers will be limited to 50. The first 50 people to register with us on, will be guaranteed a place. Please give us your full name and mobile phone number so that we are able to contact you if any changes should arise. We will contact you in due course with payment details. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

It would be great to meet you for the first time, or catch up with you after many years and we hope that you will be able to come from far and wide.

All the best in budo and in life,

    The Kendo World Team
