• Koken-chiai in Iran

There are lots of things in the news about Iran at the moment that is far from positive. Politics aside, there is a group of dedicated kenshi there doing their best to promote kendo to the wider Iranian community. Recently, they held a seminar with some intensive training sessions at a little dojo in downtown Tehran. The cultural attaché at the Japanese Embassy paid the group a visit, as did an Iranian kenshi who usually resides in the USA. KW would like to extend our congratulations and support to the kendo aficionados in Iran.
