    Event: Seventh Annual ECNF Fall Atarashii Naginata Seminar and Dangai Shinsa.
    Dates: 8, 9 & 10 November 2002 [see schedule and locations below].
    Locations:
    8, 9: Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department (CVFD) Dance Hall, Arlington, VA
    10: Johnson Center Dance Studio (JCDS), George Mason University, Fairfax, VA
    Sponsor: [US] East Coast Naginata Federation (ECNF).

    o Ms. Sachiko Yamauchi Prough, Kyoshi, ECNF Technical Advisor, and Naginata Dojo-cho of the NYNC (New York Naginata Club).

    o Ms. Diana Payne, Sandan, RMNF ([US] Rocky Mountain Naginata Federation) President, and Naginata Dojo-cho of the Denver Naginata Dojo.

    7:00 to 10 PM; Naginata Practice; new beginner orientation(*)

    Saturday, 9 Nov 2002; CVFD
    9:00 AM to Noon; Naginata Practice
    Noon to 1:30 PM; Lunch(**)
    1:30 to 6:00 PM; Naginata Practice
    After 6:00 PM; Free Time, Casual Dinner(**)

    Sunday, 10 Nov 2002; JCDS
    9:00 AM to Noon; Naginata Practice
    Noon to 1:00 PM; Lunch(**)
    1:00 to 3:00 PM; ECNF Annual Meeting(***)

    Date, time and place are TBA (To Be Announced) for the Dangai (Mudansha) Shinsa(****)

    Notes:
    * Due to space constraints, new beginners are restricted to Friday evening, after which they may continue through the next two days; new beginners cannot be accepted for the Saturday or Sunday sessions.
    ** Meals are not included in the seminar fee.
    *** Election participation requires that the annual ECNF dues (US$20 adult; US$10 minor & full-time undergraduate) and USNF dues (US$30 adult and first-time minor; US$15 minor) be paid before the meeting.
    **** Dangai Shinsa Fee: US$10; Dangai Menjo (Certificate) & Grade Registration Fee: US$10. USNF membership required.

    Seminar Costs [Pre-registration deadline is 1 November 2002; affiliations receiving pre-registration discounts: AUSKF (All United States Kendo Federation), CKF (Canadian Kendo Federation), CIA (Canadian Iaido Association), CNF (Canadian Naginata Federation), ECNF (East Coast Naginata Federation), USNF (United States Naginata Federation)]:

    A two-day fee is the sum of the two single-day fees less US$5.

    Seminar registration forms and ECNF liability release forms for non-ECNF members may be obtained from Mr. Raymond Sosnowski, ECNF General Secretary, 110742.522@compuserve.com . If you wish to become an ECNF member, then that form can be included.

    Seminar and applicable test fees are not due until the seminar; checks should be made out to: East Coast Naginata Federation.
