    Free manual in PDF format

Save yourself $5. Free equipment manuel download in French, English, and German. I like how it says "please don't copy this illegally" on the bottom of the first page. Too late.

A question to people who are more fluent with Japanese than myself...

Were one to buy the Japanese version, would it be available digitally, or would it have to be shipped to wherever one is?

(Bottom line: I'm trying to get a hold of the Japanese digital version, to attempt to re-translate and correct a few Engrish mistakes that the manual has)

If you follow the link and scroll down a bit you will find a box (on the righthand side of the screen) with links to various translations of the file.

I never rely on manuals. I think I cant do some Martial Arts in just reading some manuals/books.. Ill better enroll in a martial arts school rather than learning in my own. But thank to that sharing though.. it has nice pictures..

    Thanks for rezzing this

The instructions and illustrations for disassembling and reassembling a shinai are very detailed and nice. Some of the phrasing in the explanations are a little wonky from the translation, but certainly good enough.

Let's hope Chozo003 doesn't have access to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

I know I'm probably being lazy / stupid or both but I would like to ask does anyone clean their do-dai at all? If so what do you use and how do you clean it? Ps yes I obviously hold my arms too high cos I've been 'do-ed' sooo many times.
