  • Men to fit over glasses

    Hi guys,

I sense this one comes up a lot but I haven't seen a definitive answer here. I wear glasses and I can't see a darned thing without them, and no I can't wear contacts (odd-shaped eyes). Ideally, I would like a men broad enough to fit straight over them - I've seen people wearing them (velcro fastened at the back rather than the traditional cats cradle of cords) so I know they exist.

Any idea where I might be able to find such a men?

    Regards

i dont about special men, but maybe you can get other glasses like these ones:

i know my sensei changes glasses before every training session, she has special narrow glasses so they fit under the men.

    i hope it helps.

I think there was a post somewhere about that matter on this forum.

You need to find glasses which will fit in your men.

There are also companies who make men with some small dents on the inside which allow your glasses to fit in.

You still need to get new glasses for this.

        Good luck

And getting glasses to fit is only the start of your problems, you've then got to stop them steaming up. If you do find anything that works, a lot of us would be interested.

            steam free

            Chaps,

Thanks for the responses - new glasses it is.

In response to the steaming issue, the obvious idea is plastic lenses rather than glass. They change temperature faster and so will be less prone to steaming up. The other thing would be to coat them with an anti-fog agent - the "liquid tears" that I use in my diving mask will sort it

            Regards and thanks

I use this (from about a month), and they are serving me well:

                http://www.centrostyle.it/centrostyl...OTEZIONE_SPORT

When you wear them the sensation is similar to that of the swimming glasses, in a single training session i got used to them....
The small holes on the border give a better ventilation, so they get steamed much less than the previous one (which were similar to those used in basket).
The frame is made of a high quality rubber, so they can absorb a considerable deformation if needed.
The producer sell them online, i think here:

                Hope to be of aid..
