  • Shodan in 5 "easy" years....

I am posting this as a sort of diary but also because I got kinda depressed when it seemed everyone in my club was climbing the grading ladder so much quicker than myself.

I know people have a variety of different circumstances and I present mine as an excuse / validation / point of interest / call it what you will !

How to get Shodan in 5 years.

Somehow I dont think my club is going to allow that grading structure ...most of those who have been at it for a year are 6th kyu - the shortest time I can think of is a guy who has been around for 3 years and is a 1st kyu

Apparently, having children is the root problem here.
Therefore in order to obtain Shodan, you must first get a vasectomy.

            LOL

Thank God! For a minute there I thought it was the guy who used to walk around and deliver huge blocks of ice.

Keep the drug talk on the down low, eh?

Next thing you know, the Organ Grinder's Monkey and the Newsboy on the corner'll be all strung out.

                    I like your Moxie kid!

Ah, the paper boy. One day he's minding his own business.."Extra!Extra! Read all about it!", next thing you know, some jerk invents the metal box and takes all the plush jobs.

It's great that with all these "obsticles" in life, in the end you still keep your kendo going, and even get graded!

Some of use are just not having the luck (yet) to deal with family responsiblities, such as feeding babies...

Your stories are more inspiring than you think!

No, I meant what I said. If I didn't quote the tele accurately enough for your tastes, tough.

I read the other day that when your little empire decayed and collapsed the english people went from being makers of history to curators.
