When playing nito , which hand hold the shoto and what are the foot movement.
is the same foot work as jodan?

depends but i think it would be better if the shoto was in your right hand, because you can only hit all 3 targets of kendo when the daito/hitting sword is in ur left.. for footwork i dont have a clue.. i think the same

depending on what target you are going for. I personally fight with shoto in right and daito in left because it is easier to hit kote. Depending on the distance too...but usually its standard chudan footwork and daito in left and shoto in right for me.

By altering you footwork you make the maai closer for certain targets eg. kote is closer to hit when your left foot is forward.

Moocow would probably be the better authority here on this.
