I've been on the lookout for a fat-but-not-heavy shinai; neither dobari nor koto. Any of those fit the bill?

    Hi JJcruiser,
I posted a reply on a topic and after I reread it I realized, with no expressions in typing things can sometimes come off funny (1/2 the time it's just my bonehead fault though because I come off different then what I mean). I hope in that reply I gave I didn't sound like i was being a punk. I didn't mean to if I did.
I would like to tell you that I appreciate your feedback and thank you for being friendly to me, it's hard being the new guy on here. I have gotten ragged on a little.

P.S. Your dojo is called Shotokan....Like in Karate? Do you practice that as well?

Hey jj, here is my match from sunday. so let me know which dojo you may practice at in Socal. if it isn't too far & I'm off from work I'll come.

My Ai-Jodan Match against an experienced San Dan ready to test for Yon Dan quite a few people thought eventually I would get the point since I was getting 2 to three one flags (I think all the Judges raised there flags at different times--just not all together lol)
