    Just curious about your club. Do you receive any instruction from a legit kendo sensei or are you guys on your own? If not, and if you're serous about learning kendo, there's the New Orleans Kendo Club about a half hour from your school. My sensei used to be part of that club and can help you get in contact with them if the contact info there isn't up to date.
