Sorry, a weak attempt at humor: to call out ichi-ni-san etc. would be better than one-two-three but whatever works....

It's just a clip from a trailer; and it looks less terrible than some other Hollywood depictions I've seen. But to each his own.

Hi and sorry I haven't a clue how to load an avatar, sorry. What I did was email a photo to KWF Fonz who made it the appropriate size. Then I think I followed someone's directions, like Neil Genzwill Sensei's (sorry, I can't spell names either); or maybe I somehow sent it/Fonz sent it to this Forum. I think there is a place at the bottom of the first, main page,
where we can make a comment about using the Forum - maybe I contacted someone through that.... Virtually computer illiterate, am I.

I guess I'm too picky but on KWF we aren't all Gents. Anyway, hang in there and you may enjoy through all the tough parts, Kendo. I recall the worst things in the beginning was foot blisters and, soon after, getting hit very hard on the right hand ...
which still happens after these 20+ years. Which also means that learning the basics is all-important: had I done that well,
my ready position ("kamae") and hitting speed/style may have today, reduced the frequency of getting hit on the "kote."
As it is, running my fingers over the top of my right wrist, there is pain from a week ago's "keiko"...with a nice guy who was not a beginner (who may really whack).
P.S. NO need to reply, just please keep in mind the above comments which may help you.
