I failed kata by one judge...so i will need to retest on the kata part. It was a good lesson for me to take kata more seriously. so now i'm practicing 1 kata a day both sides. i will continue doing that even after i passed the retake.
  2. Thanks.
How did your kata situation play out? All ok?

Ahh now i remember you. very tall guy. yuor last name began with an A. Yeah I have practiced with Jason sensei so much he pretty much knows all my moves. plus he has tons of experience fighting Jodan. I think he didnt want to go for the tsuki too early cause he knows i was waiting for it. he went for it at a perfect time cause i felt like i had driven him back and was about to launch a men...all of a sudden he came forward with that tsuki. i couldn't react so i tried to resist it but he used his strength and pushed it in. LOl Jason's a great guy to fight.

Oh yes i was there I got top 16. I lost to Jason Brown three matches before he fought DEZ. he got me with a very nice tsuki 30 seconds before time ran out lol. I think if i had beat him i would have fought my dojo mate in the finals which bracket were you in?
