It's very exciting to get kendogi, hakama, and bogu for the first time, but I don't recommend anticipating too much. Listening to the sensei is best....

Hey i passed but barely. I almost lost it on the kata: my score for Kata was 3 of 5.
My keiko, I did ok; 5 of 5, but I think i could have played a lot better & more aggressive...kept missing Kote-Men & my kotes didn't look good. But I was able to overide my ankle pain and have some descent fumikomi in my Tobikomi Mens.

hey thankyou, Ahmed. I just wished my fumikomi wasn't so hindered. The other matches were simular. i like that one because it was against someone that whupped me good not too long ago. i believe you saw the video of that lost on my facebook.

oh yea school started... how is it? i remember you talking about not having the funds to go...
yea nito's fun, but i gotta practice it A LOT more, the footwork's very different. i was just watching toda-sensei and matthew raymond on youtube.
any starter advice for me, even though you don't practice nito?
