Cheers for your advice, you have proved to be a great help on a number of occasions. E.g. your tips on my thread about footwook last year really helped me dig myself out of a hole.

I apologize if you were insulted by my comment, it was not meant to be as such, you admitted yourself that it was a lack of testing. In this persons case I tend to believe its because he keeps missing the boat mentally. As for moving closer to a dojo, its not currently possible with my work situation, and I am nicely centered in the kendo community, I have about 6 dojos within about 2-3 hours away in any given direction, which means I can practice as much as I like, a luxury not usually possible in the Midwest.
