  • Please search youtube for Ashida Kim, then we'll evaluate if it could be a legitimate art (I can't get there from work). Not only his stuff ridiculous, but he's had a goodly number of followers for years. There are quite a number of others out there that have absolutely nothing to do with reality....

    Doesn't have to be old at all, and swords were never used that much in battle outside of the Roman legions. I would imagine that something that is or was actually used would be a good starting point.


    And that was my point. A sakabato is a fictional weapon used in a manga series....
