    You are thinking too much in terms of set, unchanging stances. In a fight you can use chudan mainly
    but switch to other stances to execute certain techinques. Katsugi was mentioned to you already
    but it seems you paid no mind to it.

    What would you do if you tried to cut men and the other person steps in and cuts men before you do?
    What would you do if you tried to cut and and the other person steps in and cuts do?
    What do you do if you attack and the other person counters?

    You are creating unnecessary theories. You should be able to perform fumikomi with either foot. Use the stances for your advantage. Do not let them restrict you....

    It is a good idea. Provided that you are able to perform a proper cut from this position. It is also a good idea to perform a one-handed strike from chudan. It is just harder than from jodan....

    If you would practice more and talk (write) less, you would know that the left kote is a valid target in this stance as well....
