i wish!!:p
does anyone want to buy a bogu from me?
if you mail me i'll tell the sizes, prizes etc.
i'm quitting kendo for now because I simply haven't got the time and money:(
you will have to pick it up...
heeft iemand misschien interesse in een bogu?
ik heb er een, maar aangezien ik een meisje ben is het wel een vrij kleine (waarschijnlijk voor de niet al te brede man ook goed te doen:P).
als iemand...
yes! but that is what I meant! of course the A team should be with the best players in the national championships or anything important as that. I couldn't agree more! I guess I should have said that...
yes, you're right, but I don't only speak for myself but for all the people who train a lot but can't get on the A team because they haven't been doing it long enough etc. but are eager to compete....
wow, never thought you would say this. so I guess kendo is not about the fun to play against other people and to gain experience and meet interesting people with the same hobby as yours. my fault. I...
yes, I agree. But shiai experience is a lot different than training experience. especially because there are not alot of people in our dojo so we're always doing jigeiko against the same little group...
well, usually there is a B team, even a C team if there are enough people who want to compete but the point is that the B team usually consists of people who are lucky if they even win one match...
I get what you are saying. I agree that they play for the dojo and all. but when they're the only ones who get to do shiai and we don't it's very hard to ever get better than them, right? or should...
hi, I've got a question on my mind and I am wondering how all you feel about this.
When we have a team shiai, our sensei is all about winning and makes one 'good' team and one 'less good' team....
hi and welcome!
another dutch(wo)man here.
I train kendo and iaido in Eindhoven at renbukan.
then who's your 'kendo' teacher? since you once said you practise under a 7th dan kendo sensei, which is impossible.
my mom says the smells of the kote gets less is you put it in the freezer or outside when it's very cold. you will have to put it in a bag because otherwise it would get kinda damp.
anyway knows if...
whoah! genius!!
I defenitely want one!!:D
we never stop training. even in summer we go on. I must say I'm very happy with this because I wouldn't know what to do on a tuesday night and saturday morning otherwise. I do know a lot of dojo here...
rurouni kenshin, a question:
who is your sensei? do you mean a kendo sensei or?
because the only 7th dan we have in the netherlands is Vitalis-sensei and he is living in Germany at the moment. ...
haha, I know the problem. those keikogi's are just not made for women. My sleeves are almost like normal sleeves so I do the same thing. I can use my keikogi as a bathrobe too, It's comes almost down...
you should really go see a doctor!
anything we say here might be bad advise (though not intentionally)
talk to a doctor and he will give you the answers you need.
good luck with it!
hihi :D
I don't think those sorry's will do any good anymore :P
at an exam you have to show extra spirit!!!
I've been told that when you do kirikaeshi they (the judges) like to hear one kiai. not 'men men men men' but 'meeeeeeeeeeeen'. and it also has to be...
ah okay, you're lucky that you have three. are they all from the same dojo or do you go to more than one dojo?
I got my bogu after about 2 months all at once. I did once before put on a men and kote from a sempai (blegh! smelly!!)
by the way, Lars, who's your sensei?
just curious:)
I am going!
quite a few people from the netherlands are coming if I'm not mistaken.
I am very much looking forward to this weekend. maybe I will see you there!:)
farewell!!
I don't think it's a bad idea to use it once in a while in shiai (if you can do it well enough that is, otherwise it's just plain dangerous). most people don't expect a tsuki, so they won't be...
