There is no way to get a katana made in japan as japan regulation don't allowed unless you have an authorization.

These iaitos are great but don't forget it takes 6 weeks to 2 month to produce as it's made in japan.
I've order mine 2 weeks ago on tozando (Yamashiro)
and I should receive it in January 2008

There are hundreds of new katanas and some Iaitos in title, but even those I don't trust because many are wall hangers and some that are Paul Chen and other that seems good are still made in china....
