Teresa Anderson Sensei and Reiko Barr Sensei are two women I've seen in the Pacific Northwest who I think are doing very good Kendo. I especially admire Anderson Sensei for her refined manners and poise.

Seriously it would be Barr-sensei from GKA. She always helps me when I visit and puts me with amazing sensei for keiko. Just a great person with twice her weight in heart. You can see her on youtube. All florida championship finals. Our group also has a visiting nidan that comes through every once in a while. She's sooo nice and has a kiai that can shatter concrete.

Chan Sensei of SF dojo. As said before, many things I do right I owe to her. She took my footwork from the worst in our dojo, to actually decent foot work. She really always pushed me on the basics, and even when it was frustrating I always came out better for it.
