    So we begin ... again.

For those interested, here's the link to the site map for RFM Gym, where MKC practices. Here's the link to the MKC website, which is still under construction.

Hello ^^ Unfortunately, we don't buy our bogu here in Manila. We buy it through internet shops from Korea or Japan or the USA

Yup, heard about it. Too bad there were some gems in there (the thread) too. But what can we do, right? We can't control other people. Hopefully this one will not suffer the same fate.

Well, this year's finals was a showdown of the champions from the previous two years...with the forum's very own Kendochamp proving he's worthy of his own name by winning for the second year in a row!

Congrats Kendochamp of the 2006 MKC Year-End Shiai! And thanks for knocking me out of contention for the second year in a row! ld_man:

    Cheers!

Here, here. Congratulations to the still undisputed kendochamp of MKC (two years in a row)!! Disqualified ka na dapat next year [you should be disqualified next year] -- or should I say over-qualified!

I'm an avid reader of this forum's original posts (just had to disregard the junks) and I learned a lot for almost a month or two on some topics, as my interest in kendo grew. I sure hope I saved some backups/archives back then. anyway...

My bad, hadn't had a chance to watch the year-end shiai but I'm planning to watch the last practices of December to somehow learn beforehand and confirm my slot . Can't wait for the start of January's begginers' class!

Nah, it's ok...no need to excuse him. Just gives us more incentive to improve. Personally I'm looking forward to facing him again next year, maybe in the finals again this time.

Well, just so you know the last practise day of the MKC is this Saturday, Dec 16. Hope you don't miss it then.

He he, I'm just chiding kendochamp there. I agree, I certainly need a lot of improvement. Hopefully next year I could at least win my first match and not get immediately clobbered! Missed Wednesday session yet again, darn job.

Hope to see you guys this coming Saturday (16 December 2006)!

You know...you didn't exactly get clobbered. You DID get the first ippon in that match, if I remember it correctly. No mean feat against D-sempai. Just need to work on not getting hit for the rest of the match, right?

    See you in practise tomorrow!

    Cheers!

I kinda felt that was a fluke, me getting a kote against the kote specialist (D-sempai). You're right, I should have made sure not to get hit since I already got one in, which is close to impossible. Need to work on my kote vulnerability. Hope to get you're input on this when we see each other this Sat. Thanks Togashi sempai.
