Yup I attended the first day, it was exciting!
I'm interested at joining the Kendo Club; Here's my question:
How many hours are the practices???
And do u have summer practices???
Hello,
Practises are generally two hours every Saturday, from 5-7pm, except for the last Saturday of the month, where we extend it to 4-7pm (3 hours). If your question regarding summer practises means that you're planning on joining in the summer, I'm sorry to inform you that the beginners' classes start only on the first Saturdays of January and July. If you want, you can pass by this Saturday to see if you can still join the class that just started last week (please refer to my post to ironshaft above as to details on what to do). Otherwise, yes we do have practises over the summer. The only real break that the club has is during the Christmas season.
So are you saying that your feet were hot during training?Originally Posted by angelhynxz

Anyway angelhynxz, be sure to introduce yourself to me next practise. I was the guy making the general announcements after the Club President spoke, just so you know.
Cheers!

Are there any iado schools here in the Philippines?
i think there is bengoshi san, but located at cebu. better search the forums cause im not sure about this.
Hi guys,
Just so you guys know, the dojo in Cebu is actually a kenjutsu dojo, under the Niten Ichi Ryu school (did I get that right?). I had the good fortune of visiting
them last year. A good bunch. Their dojo leader is Iza on this forum.
Anyway, to answer the original question, no there appear to be no iaido dojo here in the Philippines. And believe me, we've looked for one very hard...
Hope this clarifies things.
Cheers!
