    Kendo dojo in Nepal?

    http://www.np.emb-japan.go.jp/ann/200306.html

According to this, there has been some Kendo in Nepal. Is there a functioning dojo there with a go-dan sensei or higher?

yes, there is at least one club there. I know a sensei here in Aichi who lived there for a year about a year ago, he is 7dan. If you`re really interested I could get alot of info about Nepalese kendo from him.

Also, several Nepalese students were here practicing in my town for a few months, but they have since gone back.

Since Hasegawa sensei has come back, I`m not sure of the rank of any remaining sensei, but like I said, I can inquire. Are you going there?

I am not sure 100%, but I would like to go sometime, and if I do, I would love to train there. If you could please give me that information, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I hope you feel well soon. No worries about waiting, if I ever go to Nepal, it's not going to be next week or so. :P

    Hi guys,

I found the following interesting information online:

    http://www.kendo.org.uk/pmwiki.php/M...les07kathmandu

Anyone know if this is still relevant? I'd love to practice some Kendo in Kathmandu...
