    Dojo around Saitama City/Tokyo

I'll be coming to Japan for two months as a research assistant at RIKEN Brain Research Institute's Wako campus. Does anyone know about any dojo in and around the Wako City/Saitama City/northern and western Tokyo areas?

I'm not sure if this is the same as Saitama Prefecture. Yamanaka sensei and Saito sensei (both hatchidans) have a dojo in a school somewhere around there.

Saitama City is in Saitama Prefecture. Wako City is in southeast Saitama and is near Tokyo. I can take a train to Tokyo or Saitama City.

    Where are these?

Try http://www.gedatsukai.jp/english/katsudo_e/index.html in Kitamoto city, around the middle of Saitama pref. Their dojo is not only beautiful, but populated with some excellent kendoka.

Its next to the training centre.

I suggest you just ask someone at the university, as they may have a kendo club anyway. If not im sure someone will help you locate a dojo. Im pretty postitive you wont have to go far.
