I think the Calendar should require more things such as the location of the event, and some kind of contact (phone, email..). Since we are all around the world, it's kind of hard to figure out who can feel concerned and it takes lots of time to find out on internet that it's too far etc...

Detroit Tournament is February 19 and 20. If you go to www.midwestkendo.com
they have the entry forms in the upcoming tournaments. For info, they are holding promotion exams on the 19th and the shiai is on the 20th.

    For Cleveland, it's April 16. www.csuohio.edu/kendo
The forms are there as well.

    St. Louis Japanese Festival

The Missouri Botanical Gardens will be hosting their annual Japanese Festival on Labor Day weekend (Sept. 3-5th). Among other things they will have traditional dancing, tea ceremonies, cultural dispalys ect.

I would like to invite all kenshi to St. Louis, Missouri for the Labor Day weekend. The Missouri Botanical Garden Sponsors a very big Japanese festival every year. The Garden is very big and beautiful. The festival promotes Japanese culture, Music, Dancing and much, much, more. For the past three years the Missouri Kendo Dojo has preformed Demonstrations on Saturday
    and Sunday.

    For more information:

Link to the Missouri Botanical Gardens:

    Missouri Kendo Dojo
    5055 Alaska Ave.

I'll have updates to the dates and times as the event nears.

Any Tournament's, Seminar's, or Promotional's here in Virginia, or somewhere close, anytime soon? Besides Annapolis'es.
