この度、剣道を通して友好と交流をより深める為に国際親善剣道大会ロンドン・カップを開催する運びとなりま したので、皆様にご案内させていただきます。

試合経験を積みたい初心者から、更なる課題に取り組む高段者まで、週末に剣道でいい汗を流したいと思われる 方なら大歓迎です。　

この大会に参加していただき、試合や審判をする事で、できるだけ多くの方に技を磨いていただければと考えて います。

また、この大会の意義を理解していただける三段以上の方には審判員としても参加していただきたいと思います 。

ロンドン・カップは、ボランティアによって運営される、剣道を英国で普及させる為の非営利イベントです。皆 様から頂いた参加費は大会運営費として利用させていただきます。

Fall 2008 SWIKF Seminar and Shinsa

Description
The Championships will take place on 15 & 16 November 2008. An one day seminar will take place on 14 November and a Kendo Shinsa 1-3 dan will take place on 16 November, following the Championships.
The event will be organized by Budo Center for the Hellenic Iaido Kendo Naginata Federation

The 2009 MWKF summer camp will be held at Michigan State University in East Lansing Michigan (USA) from the evening of Friday August 7 through approximately noon Sunday August 9.

Camp fees include three meals on Saturday, Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday, lodging at the Wilson Halls dormitory on the campus at M.S.U. as well as participation in all kendo instructional events.

Yamanaka Shigeki (Hanshi 8-dan), and Saito sensei (Kyoshi 8-dan) will be returning once more as MWKF Summer camp guest instructors, along with our usual crew including Tagawa Yoshiteru sensei (Kyoshi 8-dan). Yamanaka sensei was the winner of the 3'd ZNKR 8-dan championships. The first Annual Dublin International Open with be held the 24th and 25th of October 2009, this two day event will include Grading's and Competitions.

We will host a Ladies individual, Dan Grade individual, Kyu Grade individual and a 5-Man team event.
The Top Prize is a Handmade Toukan Bogu Set from our official sponsor eurokendo!

* Evening welcome Gikeiko
Saturday 24th of October
* Ladies, Kyu and Dan Individual classes and a 5-Man Team competition
* Kendo Grading
Sunday 25th of October
* Kendo Seminars with Delepiere-Sensei, Holt-Sensei, Inoue-Sensei, O'Sullivan-Sensei and Salmon-Sensei.

Online registration will close at 30th of September, registration after this date we will incur a late booking fee, subject to management approval and availability.
