I was seriously considering knocking it on the head as my right knee has been bloody awful recently. I spoke to one of the nanadans organising and he said I could compete doing tachiwaza only, so I had a go - but hurt myself again with some overenthusiastic fumikomi in shihogiri...!
All turned out well in the end. I can now chill with my leg up for a few months until my shinza on November 1st.

Nobby (Martin) Clarke looked superb as usual...
Katsumushi were great on the shiaijo and off (Femi and the tribe were hysterical as usual...!)
