    Himo

Do you know if there is a way to fix himo? Yesterday I had my men himo "cut" while i was doing kirikaishi. I know i can buy one, but here in brazil, himos are too expensive, and i don't like to buy stuff from the internet.

    Thanx!

Quick way - just tie a knot. This is a little dangerous because the knot is a high spot - if a shinai hits it directly, it can hurt.

Another way - overlap the ends and whip them together. If you use good strong polyester thread and take a lot of turns, this holds together pretty well.

You can try to find something that look like a men himo and tie to your men. It´s a cheap solution, but for the time, becouse if you want to go for the graduation in february it think it wont be alowed. But i recomend you to look at bogubag, the price of a men himo there is something like R$ 70,00. And it is a high quality, something like the top quality that e-bogu sell here in Brazil. But for now, good luck.
