I don't know that he has the resources to get up to Indianapolis often enough to make it worthwhile, but he has your name already Andrew. You may be hearing from him.

As one of my instructors used to lament ... so many arts, so little time!

    Paul-san,

Your student is heading to Bloomington? I've heard a rumor that a young genetleman from Japan will be at Indiana University for a few years (maybe just a year) who has nidan or sandan in Shinto-ryu iai-battojutsu and has been given permission to teach a bit. Do you want me to forward some info to you when I find out more?

    Good luck in your search!

I guess I am still thinking in the European way, so anything beyond an hour or two is too far. The second thing is that I do not have a car, and that first year grad students do not have very much free time. So right now I prefer something in Twin Cities.

Hope you get lucky and it doesn't do that this year!

Well, good luck in your new dojo! I hope you enjoy it.

    Outstanding!
Welcome back to the grind Paul! I am going to try and send someone in your direction. Haven't heard from him lately, so I don't know if my contact information for him is still good or not.

    Thanks for the heads-up though!

    Paul-san,

Great news about teaching Hoki-ryu again. I had been informed that you might have started back up recently. We should get together sometime and compare notes. I've never actually experienced Hoki-ryu on the mat. PM me.
