my do
A while ago we did an excersise in our dojo where u lie on your stomach and drag your body forward using ur forearms. I asked my sensei if I could take my do off, but he said to leave it on like eevryone else, so I did without question. After doing that excersise, I look at my do, and right flat in the middle is a circle in which the finish of my do was entirely scraped off. My do has a black and dark red marble finish which i am very fond off, and I really dont like it being uglified as it is.
Is there anyway I can somehow cover it up with some sort of...polish...or wax or something?

What kind of a stupid exercise is that? Are you sure your sensei wasn't making fun of you?
Muscle is built at the gym using proper equipment. Some stupid improvised lat-pulldown exercise only results in your dou being scratched.
