    Iaido for iPhone

    Here something interesting:

Tokyo-based Appliya Inc. brings authentic sword-swinging action to the iPhone with Katana
    Iaido for iPhone

    Saskatoon Kendo Club

The sword is more than a simple weapon... it is an answer to life's questions.

Totally getting this. The ceiling in my apartment is too low for me to swing my iaito around. Thanks, Appliya Inc!

I strongly discourage use of any application on a $500 phone which utilizes broad motions to engage the accelerometer. Remember what happened when people first got their hands on Wii-motes?

I am sure there are some "Grandmasters" out there who have thought of this already and are currently opening their very own iPhone Dojos out there

Wasn't there a Kendo game for the Wii or something?

Btw, this app is more a woosh application.

If you are going to get this app I suggest getting the Defender: http://www.otterbox.com/iphone-cases...defender-case/

There's enough silicone and ploycarbon skeleton to play B-Ball with it.

**Disclaimer, I am not an expert at silicone or BBall; as such, I do not suggest you bounce your iphone as if it was a BBall.** =P
