    Kendo for Wii

I knew this was going to sooner or later come out ... don't know why people would rather sit at home and do this than actually go to the dojo, but whatever, looks cool!

Tsuki, at least, is no problem: just jab with the wiimote. I hope they'll use the wii motionplus-thingy for it.

problem with this though, is you can't really 'seme'. haha. That and doesn't look like you can use nidan/sandan waza nor hikiwaza.

With the new motion plus (which add precision on the wiimote) there is a game in sport resort called sword play that is veeeery interesting...

Yeah that was what I was thinking. Then again I feel the same way about online gaming and such. At any rate if it gets children interested in doing kendo then I'm all for it.

well I think that the kendoka's that are in college or around friends alot, this would be something that maybe they would enjoy yet not beat up on their friends. But I know what Ill be playing with some college friends when Im not practicing or doing homework. Or my job for that matter. But I see this is one thing that could bring some into the art and maybe not. It depends. Heck maybe you could invite some people from you dojo and have fun...a cook out and alittle fun would be sweet. Get your sensei on this and I think everyone would be happy that day.

My kids are going to go crazy when they see this. I guess it's time to buy a Wii finally.

Finally, a reason to blow the dust off my Wii.
If I'm gonna suck at Kendo, I may as well be cheerful about it

Wow, that looks awesome! Perhaps I should go out a buy a Wii....
Though nothing beats the real deal, it still looks fun.
