The jodan chick is 古室可那子 (Kanako Komuro), who placed 2nd at the individuals at the last World Championship in Taiwan.

Both Komuro and Takami are now in Chiba Prefecture; you see them playing against each other at the final of the Chiba Prefectural Taikai at the end of the video.

Now I'm wondering: why is Takami on the current Team Japan and not Komuro??
