fight fight fight!!! shinai at 20 paces perhaps?

There are certain flaws that need considering if your other half does what you do as a hobby:

    a) no 'personal time' away from them
    b) same amount of cash, twice as much bogu etc to buy.
    c) double fares etc for seminars.
    d) asking for a japanese guy who ISN'T a male chauvinist is like finding an honest politician. Wait until divorce laws change in Japan and watch what happens next....there are going to be a hell of a lot of guys on the street...
    e) its highly likely you will have to dress up as a schoolgirl and wear white panties, or some other equally weird kit, if you want a japanese guy.

May I suggest you visit Japan, and watch the older married couples at home... It is a bit of an eye opener...

You know...we've been repeating this "I'm into kendo for the chicks" thing so long - I think it's actually starting to WORK.

Yes, I knew you could have been close to where I lived.
On 2004-New Year’s Day we visited his sister’s family in MA. I don’t remember where exactly.
They took me to a big store, full of myriads of candles of every kind, color, scent… candles inside glass jars… Oh, yes, now I see: its name was “Yankee Candle”!
I remember it wasn’t very far.

    But what about this….????

Even if I was a soccer referee, I don’t like soccer much. Here in Italy soccer is the synonym of sport. Nothing else exists for Italians. Football players are demigods.
Anyway it’s fun: in 2002 I was a spectator at the Milan vs Inter match in San Siro!
But what surprises me most is the fact that an American is so well-informed about Italian Football ! I am not!
It is very strange to read something so familiar to me written by a person I don’t know from the other side of the planet!
I could expect everything but an American-Japanese talking about “Rossoneri” !!!

    The question is:
if I am ready to go and live in Japan right now without thinking about it for even a second, I think I’m not going to the United States for a man anymore.
But I would really like to know you.
Are you still planning your summer vacation? What about Tuscany (it’s not that far away from where I live: about 2 hours and a half from Florence)? Tuscany is really wonderful in my opinion. And I live 1 hour and a half away from MILAN !!!

Anatomical? Do you mean almond-shaped eyes?
It is a very strange correlation, because in my case almond-shaped eyes simply drive me crazy !!!!

Corwyn... do you have almond-shaped eyes? (it is not so obvious... it depends on the fact that both of your parents are Japanese or not. I knew an Italian-Japanese whose mother was Italian and he looked like an Italian).

I'm waiting for your answer! Bye!

oh dear.... Corwyn, your previously happy single life style is about to come to an end. My condolences....
But there again, why should you be happy and have money for the rest of your life? The rest of us would be jealous...

Oh, we have several of those, so there's no telling where you went.

Unfortunately, I don't have time for a summer vacation this year. It's tough with my two dogs, and I've already spent a good bit of time away from them for business travel. I would love to go back to Tuscany, though. That's where I spent most of my time during my two weeks in Italy back in 2001.

Tagliatelle with boar meat sauce. Mmmmm.....

Yes, I do. I am 100% Japanese by blood, only American by place of birth.

It doesn't seem to be as you foresee, chidokan...

I forgot to say that Reiki is very important for me, I'm a second-level apprentice, and Corwyn is a Master level.
We had so many things in common...

    What a pity.
My pursuit of happiness with a Japanese man goes ahead.
