Is there a way to watch the AJKC on Television in the US?
Dish network sells TV Japan ala cart, but Im not sure if they broadcast the AJKC's or not. Though one of my buddies reportedly used to order Japanese programming through his local cable provider, but I dont know which channel he would order to get teh AJKC broadcast.
Anybody have any Ideas?

Depends on your local provider. They'll probably show it, but not live. When, depends on scheduling.
Even if your local provider carries NHK, NHK only makes a 1-hr broadcast of the tournament. You're better off buying the DVD.
