I can tell you the food I'm really missing, right now, is shawarma. Man, I could just devour some shawarma, at the moment. Too bad I can't get it anywhere I know, here.

Steak & chips. Or fish & chips. Or sausage & chips. Or chicken & chips. Or chips & chips.

I love being English. And chips.

    I never had Gyros
From what I could find Gyros is basically a Greek food so it has tzatziki sauce, Swaorma is from Midle East.
Here they make swaorma with different ingredients like cucumber, onion, tomato, lettuce, eggplant, parsley, pickled turnips, pickled gherkins, cabbage and French Fries which I understand are not used in other countries.
Having tzatziki I don’t think gyros is as hoot as swaorma (they put chili sauce as well in swaorma or something similar )

i remember my last haggis. it was at one of burn's dinner around here. it was rather nice with good whisky over it. then this rather well dressed old lady sitting next to me looked at me and said 'this looks like cat food'.

Anything but organ meats, and even then, after a few drinks, well...

This time of year, I want fair food - fried dough, caramel apples, sausage inna bun, fried veggies. Defrickenlicious.
