Master "Jian Shen" is having a sword Immortals Workshop on Feb 6th !
The Jian Shen (it means God of Sword) will not teach unless there is a lot of people who are coming. And the people must be dedicated and humble. No past martial arts experience is needed but if only a few people come, He will not teach.

"The Jian Shen" is considering teaching a Taoist Immortals' Sword Seminar this Feb the 6th. BUT he will cancel if not enough people show up.

Here is few videos of him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HpTnKCsFmo

Find out more at http://doyi.org/ !

And personal more personal info about the master http://usksf.org/?page_id=93

Enjoy this rare change of learning from him o/

I miss the good old days when the different martial styles would just kill each other off to see which one was better...nowadays there's just too much talking and nothing to back it up.

So he wants his students to be humble, meanwhile so is not humble enough to teach smaller number of students ??? He calls himself "God of Sword" and he tell others to be humble ?

My 7th dan sensei is humble enough to practice with one or two students. I learn sword to be humble but I don't there is anything I can learn from Jian Shen....

    Greeting

Hi guys. It feels good to join the family. Also I have some cool news for you. There will be an awesome rare sword seminar held by Master Jian Shen on Feb 6 in America. The only sad thing is that he may cancel it if not enough people show up. I would be honored if you all would pass this around and check it out. It would suck for everyone for the people who have already registered to get shut out of this because the knowledge that will be given is worth more than 1000 buhddas. I can't go myself because I will be traveling abroad but I might get a kick ass lesson summary. This knowlege can be spread to all of us. Here are some cool links that I stumbled upon:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HpTnKCsFmo and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_0qpa8O_is

If I remember correctly, this man also was featured in a few (now deleted) youtube videos of a dojo in the Seattle area (may be wrong though) claiming to teach kendo but the footage clearly showed they were another McDojo. The person hosting the videos the OP posted has also come up in some other discussions with not so flattering comments.

My only question is what is he doing in the Kendo forum which has nothing to do with his style.

Ehi, some adept of this guy is posting even on an italian kendo forum with the same links (in correct italian, so is a real person not a bot)!
"Advisor of American Kendo Federation "?
"Advisor of American Iaido Federation "?
For ONLY 800$ a special intensive lesson from such a master? Woooa!!! An affair (for him)!

Whilst the youtube link offered by "Hi Guys"' Learn - not all of us are guys BTW - shows some nice Tai Chi sword, albeit a few parts are certainly flashier than taught by my Chinese, shadow-boxing Master in China, if really Dao (Tao), should it not be immaterial if but one or no one came for the seminar...since the Dao or natural order and movement of the universe, controls all things?

Hmm, wonder what the American kendo federation is. I know what the All U.S. Kendo Federation is... but I can't even get a google hit on the American Kendo Federation that isn't the AUSKF. I suppose if I create a bunch of organizations I can call myself anything I want in them.
