How many days of the week do you practice ?

For me it varies from 5 per week to 7

and how do you feel it affects your kendo ?

I notice a difference in how quickly I learn when I train twice a week instead of once. A fella I started with trains five or six times in a week now, and the difference when that started was definitely noticeable, but I like Kendo as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle .
If I'm gonna suck at Kendo, I may as well be cheerful about it

Kendo? Twice per week. Martial Arts in general? Only 5 as I've recently had to cut down

I usually practice around 4 times a week, but lately because of a combination of scheduling and injuries have cut it down to 2 or 3. I think the slowdown has benefited my kendo, or at least I'm not doing the same bad things I used to do, maybe a slowdown in practice helps sometimes. I'm starting to think that ramp ups and ramp downs are beneficial instead of just cramming as much kendo in as I can.

used to be 3, now it's two. My progress has been about the same (slow) since changing. I do think that I can really contemplate what I need to work on more with fewer practices. It also makes me more desperate to practice, because I look forward to it more when I have to wait. I think more practice is better though, and wouldn't mind 3 or 4 times a week.

I train 3 times a week, but sometimes i feel i need to do more kendo , so i spend those day off at the gym, sometimes i feel frustated or struck so i always return to my basics and try to analyse my performance at dojo

Our founding sensei, now departed, once expressed to me in his broken English that kendo is not just physical exertion that happens a few times a week in a dojo. I'm paraphrasing him, but what he conveyed was that I should always strive to do kendo outside the dojo in my everyday life where shinai and bogu are neither required nor needed to practice it. He added that is where the true measure of kendo lessons show.

    Kendo: 2-3 days a week.
General training (including Kendo): 2-6 days a week

...depends on how sick I feel.
