    Is anyone fammiliar with the wck solingen iaito? check it at www.wkc-sports.com
    Any opinions?

    they remind me of the ones Meirin sell...look ok as a picture, however like all swords I prefer to get my hands on one and try it out!

    I've no idea who the maker of these iaito is, but they aren't made in Japan. The Japanese don't produce stainless steel iaito, all of theirs are an aluminum alloy of some sort. This usually (but not always!) means Chinese made. I've seen some very decent Chinese made swords, and I've seen some really bad ones ... in the same model sword from the same company no less. They could be very nice and well worth the money, but I would never buy one that I haven't personally inspected.
