A New Dojo in Greater Philadelphia Area

There used to be two dojos, I believe, in the Greater Philadelphia Area. One is Tanshinkai in downtown Philadelphia and Ken Wa Kan in West Chester, PA. Now, there is one more, Seidokai in Broomall, PA. I myself is training there. Sensei Chi is great, and the facility is beautiful and awesome! Sensei Chi got awards in many competitions and also the one who co-founded the first kendo dojo in Las Vegas, Budokan. Anyone living near Broomall should check this out!

Are they an AUSKF kendo dojo? I will add it to my dojo list if it is. If it's not, I'll wait for more information about this dojo.

Do you guys have a website yet?

P.S. Sensei goes after the person's name, and not before.

    Kaoru,

Yes, it is AUSKF member dojo. Our sensei, Sensei Chi submitted all the forms and fees to the federation recently through Kataoka sensei in New York City. We have our website www.seidokai.org. Thank you.

Welcome to the neighborhood! I may be reading into your wording a little too much but Tan Shin Kai and Ken Wa Kan are most definitely still around. While not as near to Philly, there is also another AEUSKF dojo in Stroudsburg called Shu Do Kan under Matsushita Sensei, who has visited us a number of times in the past. If you're ever out in West Chester, feel free to visit us.
