    OUCH!
This morning's practice brought up two important concepts. Seme....and Tame... He only said the words a few times and what they meant in general. I went home and looked them up and and got a much deeper meaning to my already deep practice...combined a few things in my journal and now have it to look back on forever!
I have also been adding things to the journal daily as I do suburi or whatever....things keep popping up.

Same as golf. You pound balls all over the rough and then get that one good hit. Makes it almost worth all the angst of the rest of the game... Of course, if you play golf you obviously have too much time on your hands and should be in the dojo more. I know of at least two hachidan who stopped playing golf because it took too much time...

I remember this one time, about 2 months ago that I just had this great feeling on the way to kendo (its a 30min drive) all the traffic lights were green, no bad drivers - it was like a sign I was meant to go, and that night was what I would describe as 'awesome', it was brilliant - great training, great jikeiko. I had so much fun
Leaves you on a high of a sort for a few days after
