Free, high quality kendo/budo related calligraphy

There seems to be a dearth of well-written, high resolution files of kendo calligraphy on the net. What is out there is usually not free or not good or both.

So if you own the copyright to any calligraphy that you'd like to share with the budo world, please post it! b

    kikentaiitchi, 気剣体一致

I'll start the ball rolling. This is a 144 dpi greyscale JPEG. The kanji are quite extended to fit into a more compact space. This design was intended for a team kendogi (sleeve), so the aim was to be very clear and solidly readable, with just a little flamboyance.

Feel free to adjust positioning (or anything) as desired. Here the sizing is slightly wonky, exactly as brushed. I've tried making them perfectly same width and in line with each other vertically, and that looks good too.

I have an EPS if you prefer to work with vector-graphics, I just couldn't work out how to host it.

Broken link. Taking the [img] tag off the front of it doesn't work, either. Not to sound unappreciative, but thought you'd want to know.

    Nice work.

I'm battling with kaisho and gyosho at the moment. I was doing a bit of shakyo as well, but it takes forever and I don't have the concentration power. Being left handed sucks if you do calligraphy!

Yeah, this took 80 hours. Not your normal shakyo though. b

That's really cool mate! I like a bit of Hannya Shingyo. I've written it out a few times, but it takes me about 2 or 3 hours on hanshi. Not very good with kofude.

Enmei Juku Kannongyo is much easier - and shorter.

OK it's been a while. Here's another. It's a bit of a glib Illustrator job, but looks nice I think. It says "mushin" 無心. I can supply it in any image format and also as a vector graphic. Feel free to alter, customise or re-edit as you see fit. b
