    Rhythmic Gymninjery...?

And I am no way surprised that Dux is involved. Of course something so absurd would be connected to him.

Years ago, back in 2000, I sat in on one of his 'dojos' when I was still at the University of SoCal. A friend was doing it and had invited me. It was... quite possibly... the most counter-intuitive and upsetting thing I had seen in a long time. At one point a teacher kidney punched one of the students, hard enough to collapse him, because he was doing some upper cut drill slowly or somesuch. Their pushups involve various things that are super harmful to the spine. Then, reflexively, when doing their bow I did the the fist-to-palm gesture we do in wushu. The teacher was all "You know in Japan, that means you have challenged me to a death match." At which point I realized how completely... right, I will stop here before I rant anymore.

you forgot bleached, its the most important part of the visual, the bleached watermelon, its usual delicious looking stripes are now obvious stretch marks.... the ovoid shape.... jiggling as they almost cut their ear off attempting chiburi.

I like how when they swing their swords, they'd actually hit their opponents head with the tsuba...

Yup, funny thing is that there's a really good kendo dojo literally like 100 steps away from the convention center that show took place :P

I simply LOVE the "lifted wholesale from prequel trilogy Star Wars" choreography moves. Seriously.
