"This video contains content from INgrooves, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds. "

Anybody else get this error? INgrooves appears to be a San Francisco-based company, and it seems odd (to me) that content from them would be blocked in the US.

I feel for you NTIR guys/gals. Froot loops like these seem to love name-checking Musashi almost as much as ninjism*. b

I'm betting it was the song in the background.

Is it nazi flag or a flag with a swastika? The swastika is also a buddhist symbol that has been around longer than nazi germany.

Nup. This is not very Buddhist and is the flag featured in the vid. Don't worry, you're not missing much. b

It is definitely of the German variety. In fact, it is the Kriegsmarine flag they are flying:

That's messed. It's amazing how ignorant people are. If I showed this to my dad, a Royal Navy Vet of WW2, I think his blood would boil. Me doing kendo is weird enough for him. Don't need nut jobs like this putting crap like this online.

Even though your statement is (mostly) correct, it would still be disingenuous to attempt to use the symbol now while trying to pretend that you don't intend to send a nazi-esque message. (not sure that's a real word but you get the idea)
Effective communication relies on the most pervasive association of a word and to try and pretend you meant a less well known definition for a word or symbol when you communicate with the general (western) public is asinine, at best.

Of course, things are different if you're in a region where the symbols' prior associations are stronger than the nazi message. Also, looking at the image ben posted, I'd have to assume they really meant to spread a nazi message since the buddhist swastika is flat instead of at an angle and often depicted facing the other way.

while I thought it bizzare doing comando style training with sword, it doesnt have to be a nazi message in the sense that the average American or Brit would see it, since Mexico wasnt what anyone would call an active participant in the war against nazism it may have different emotional loadings there.

It's a nazi flag. People don't just choose nazi flags out of a flag shop at random.

Also, were they wearing Japanese flag patches over their chest?

Here's another of dude's videos. Notice the stormtrooper helmets on the captors, as well as the nazi eagle. Maybe they're making a student film?
