    why no kata subsection under kendo

    arguably you could post in the waza or concepts section i guess. Kata specific questions or discussion would have a better home in a kata section.
    I remember some guy asking Liang Baiping what the philosphy of Taiji was. Baiping looked at him and said, "The philosophy of Taiji is to crash through to their center and kill them".

    I don't think we talk about it all that much. I have a kata section in my own forum and it's rarely used.
