    Question Shinai, where to place?

    Hi guys,

    I have a few shinai and I was wondering where i can place those shiani at home.
    Is there any stuff like the follwing one for iaito?

    I just keep mine in the shinai bag and lean it against a wall. Anywhere where you won't damage it/kick it/all that other taboo stuff to it should be fine.

    If it is winter time, i place it in the bathroom.
    I remember some guy asking Liang Baiping what the philosphy of Taiji was. Baiping looked at him and said, "The philosophy of Taiji is to crash through to their center and kill them".

    I have a sword rack (^_^ made it with the help of my friend), and have my shinai, bokken, and iaido blade on it. Sorry don't know how to put pictures up or I would.

    Where ever you keep it, make sure that a burglar can't get to it before you do and don't let it get too dry, or it will break/crack/shatter.

    Some are by the front door, in shinai bags, to remind me going in/out that the Kendo dojo is more important than anywhere else I'm going...guilt trip at times.
