    Tenugui

Hello I am new to the forum and new to Kendo.

I would like to buy a Tenugui and the one I have chosen has 'Katsumi nintai' in Kanji characters dyed onto it.

Before I purchase this Tenugui I would like to know the English translation of the Japanese.

Does anyone out there know the translation please?
    Thanks very much.

    Heyup and welcome

Can you show a link to the kanji on the tenugui?

My Japanese is terrible but ‘nintai’ means endurance

‘Katsumi’ I cannot say without seeing the kanji, it can have many meanings

Some guys on here speak very good Japanese they should be able to give you a better idea of the meaning

My reading of it was "unceasing endurance", but my kanji skills aren't that great at all so I'd rely on a mor authoritative source if I were you.

(I have a tenugui with, I guess, the same characters that I ordered from Ninecircles)
