    Bogu Stitching

Hi i was wondering what the difference the stitching makes in bogu. I'm a fairly new kendoka and it seems it has come time for me to finally buy bogu and i just don't get what all the difference stitching does and where are they measuring this? I realize this is a pretty stupid question but I honestly just can't find any info on the net about it so i figured i would ask here.

    Thanks a bunch,
    -Bleda

Hey man , just look though the bogu section , or do a search on this forum

It feels more rewarding to find a answer by yourself then just have it handed to you

there is machine stitching and human, hand stitching...

obviously the human hand stitching is better in all aspects, apart from the fact that its price is... unbearable...

the machine stitching is quite good, good enough for most people, unless you happen to be a 6th dan onwards, and win the national lottery...

then there is the measurements of the stitching... the smaller the number, it means that the stitches are closer, which adds more protection as it is 'stronger'...

    hope this helps...

Closer stitching makes the armor stiffer, not necessarily giving more protection. More padding makes the armor more protective.
