    Vietnam?

A friend of mine just started Kendo with me here but he will go to Vietnam in 3 months time and would like to continue practicing. I could not find information *in English* about Vietnamese dojo, though it seems it does exist.

Does anyone have a contact, hint, clue, smoke signal...?

    Thank you!

Indeed, the Vietnam Kendo Club's website is in Vietnamese. And for some reason I can't plug the website directly into google translate.

However, after a little bit of exploring, I found the page that has their schedule and e-mail address. The e-mail address is info [at] kendo [dot] vn.

    http://www.kendo.vn/

In addition, they seem to have a message board. If for some reason you don't get a return e-mail you could try to write them a forum message.

If Google Translate is correct... the cost to train is about $7.44CAD/month!

But of course, Google Translate also says this:

Directed Search in the four-digit Basic Engineering, Search, The, Best (ki, ken, ears, ichi). The gas is air, for a weapon, be the most physical and best. Kendo training is how to train your legs into the air for, and coordinate with the power of the body so that it becomes a powerful brand. The Japanese often Directed Search for von subject is: 'Prepare for the young son and a pleasure mercy for old age'.

Hello Mr. Abramo, I'm a Kendoka in Vietnam, and I'm Vietnamese too. (^___^)
May you let me know which city your friend will come? In Vietnam, there are only two cities have Kendo dojo, Hanoi (Vietnam's capital) and Ho Chi Minh city. I'm living in HCM city.
Website and information for Hanoi Kendo Club:

    Hanoi Kendo Club's Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...?id=1780096385

HCMC Kenyukai (Ho Chi Minh city's Dojo): http://www.facebook.com/hcmkenyukai
If you have any question, please contact us on FB or e-mail.

I hope it's enough to help your friend to continue practicing Kendo. (^___^)
